The Black Law Students Association has a tradition of service at Yale University and in the Greater New Haven community. We value these experiences as integral to our legal educations and contribute time and legal services to a wide range of non-profit and service organizations.  To learn more about the mission and history of BLSA, click here.

The membership of the Black Law Students Association is very diverse- representing over twenty states and three countries, thirty undergraduate institutions, and includes graduate degrees from over ten institutions. To learn more about BLSA's members, click here.

The Black Law Students Association is always looking to grow.  Thus, we offer resources to help prospective students make decisions about law school, navigate the application process, and learn more about the amazing learning environment offered at Yale Law School. Alumni of the Black Law Students Association have served as partners in major law firms, general counsels for Fortune 500 companies, and judges in state and federal courts, including a Supreme Court Justice.
